CALGARY – That collective holding of breath down at Calgary’s McMahon Stadium the past two weeks was all about Chris Jones. The Stampeders’ new brain trust was praying that the Montreal Alouettes would not promote Jones, their long-time defensive co-ordinator, to replace Jim Popp as head coach.
