A POPULAR riverside restaurant in York is looking to recruit ahead of its reopening next month.
Star Inn The City, York, wants extra staff to support the front of house and bar teams, with full and part-time permanent roles available for an expected start date of April 19.
The Brasserie-style restaurant, on the edge of York’s Museum Gardens close to Lendal Bridge, said comparable experience was preferred, but training can be given for successful candidates who are willing to learn, smart, polite and flexible.
Star Inn The City opened in 2013 after Andrew Pern, of Michelin-starred Star Inn at Harome, joined forces with the building owners in their bid to launch a new venue.
Front of house staff are also needed for the The Star Inn, Harome, while the New Inn at Cropton is also looking for a hard worker with great customer service to welcome guests, take food orders, and clean.
