Louisiana citizens are being encouraged to pre-apply for Disaster Food Stamps. The Disaster Food Stamp Program provides eligible low- to moderate-income housesholds, who do not normally receive Food Stamp benefits, with help buying groceries due to lost income or damages following a disaster.
