State sees dip in new requests for food stamps (KJCT 8 Grand Junction)

Colorado officials say the number of new applications for food stamps fell about 16% in May, the largest drop in a single month since December. May numbers for Mesa county are not yet available, but the county has seen a slight dip from March to April in food assistance applications.
