Sweet video showing Prince Harry fixing Meghan Markle’s hair goes viral

Royal fans have joked that Prince Harry’s post-Megxit job will be fixing his wife’s hair after a sweet video of the Duke of Sussex went viral.

A clip shared to Twitter by Australian royal fan Michelle compiles various occasions that Harry helped Meghan adjust her locks during official royal engagements in 2019.

Scenes include Harry untucking his wife’s ponytail after she was presented with a necklace during their tour of Morocco, and smoothing down her hair after it was tousled by the wind during her charity cookbook launch at Kensington Palace.

It prompted TV critic Jim Shelley to joke that ‘this is Harry’s job now’, while royal fans were delighted by the footage, saying it’s proof of how besotted the Duke of Sussex is with the former Suits star.

And while a handful of people said that they would not be happy with their partner constantly touching their hair, the majority couldn’t help swooning over the ‘adorable’ footage.

The first clip shows Meghan receiving a neck pendant while the couple were on tour in Morocco in February 2019.  Then pregnant with Archie, the royal couple were seen admiring traditional Moroccan arts and crafts on display at a social entrepreneurs event and market at the Andalusian Gardens in Rabat. One trader gifted Meghan a necklace. After it was placed over her head, Harry carefully untucked her ponytail

The royal couple are known for being openly affectionate in pubic, holding hands and being tactile with both each other and well-wishers, and royal fans pointed out that Meghan offered Harry a smile and a thank you on every occasion.

The second video was also from one of the Sussex’s visits to Africa.

The heartwarming clip shows Harry on the first day of their 10-day tour of Africa with a video of Harry untucked his wife’s ponytail during a visit to the Nyanga Township to meet with young people fro the The Mbokodo Club Project in September last year.

Harry’s sweet move seen in the short video clip sees Meghan joining her husband among the group, before pulling a strand of hair which had fallen onto her shoulder, back into place.

The PDA is not unusual for the young couple, who have shook things up with their open approach to public engagements during their time in the royal limelight.

During their tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand in October 2018, the couple were basking in the afterglow of their pregnancy announcement, and were frequently seen stealing affectionate glances, holding hands and touching each other’s backs supportively.

Their affection during their southern hemisphere tour was also shown in the third clip, which saw Harry untuck Meghan’s ponytail again after she won a medal in New Zealand after the couple engaged in ‘welly-wanging’.

Despite the happy displays, Harry and Meghan have previously come under fire for being ‘too affectionate’ in public, with some experts claiming it doesn’t follow ‘royal precedent’ and appears unprofessional.

But the warm body language appears to have finally coloured off onto other members of the family.

Speaking to MailOnline previously FEMAIL, body language expert Judi James told how their warm displays appeared to be rubbing off on more ‘formal’ William and Kate.

She said: ‘Now that Meghan has joined The Firm, her own determinedly tactile behaviour with Harry does seem to have had a profound ‘echo’ effect on William and Kate’s rituals.

‘Normally its a younger sibling that will mimic or mirror the older, but in Harry and William’s case it seems to be William taking his lead from his younger brother and his wife.’

The final clip again sees Meghan and Harry in Morocco, this time with the Duke fixing the Duchess’s loose windswept hair.

The couple were at another Education For All boarding house, where they met its founder and students.

The Moroccan NGO Education For All (EFA) builds boarding houses for girls aged 12 to 18 to ensure that girls from rural communities in the High Atlas Mountains region are able to access secondary education.

The couple met girls living at the boarding house and the housemother, and toured the facilities where a henna ceremony was performed on the Duchess.

While the couple pose for a photo with the students, Harry is seen patting down Meghan’s hair which is blowing in the wind.

The couple are believed to currently be in Vancouver, and are poised to split their time between the UK and North America following their step-back as senior royals.

It doesn’t seem that the pair will be returning to the UK anytime soon, as last month, it was reported that the couple are ‘hoping’ to spend their summer in Los Angeles.

It was also said that Meghan  has been ‘actively looking’ for a manager or agent for future projects – two years after giving up her acting career to Marry Harry.

Meghan quit her role in the US legal drama Suits in 2017 after becoming engaged to the Duke of Sussex, 35, and joining the Royal Family as a working member.
