Talks due between Royal Mail and postal workers’ union (The New Statesman)

Last minute talks between the Royal Mail and the union are to take place later today, with the aim of halting this week’s strikes by postal workers. Talks come after Royal Mail said they would hire up to 30,000 temporary workers to alleviate the impact of “unjustified and irresponsible” striking.
