Tar from roof of post office spills into Rockaway River (Daily Record)

Hazardous materials units responded to the post office at 1 Bank St. in Rockaway Sunday after tar that had been used to patch the roof of the building began to wash away during Sunday’s rains and spill into the street and a nearby river.
