ENGLAND’S bowlers sent down plenty of special deliveries in their victorious Cricket World Cup campaign – and now you can follow suit thanks to a newly-decorated postbox in Taunton.
The postbox, on North Street, is one of 15 special editions to have been decorated by Royal Mail around the country to commemorate England holding both the men’s and women’s World Cup trophies.
They are in the host towns of the tournament as well as in places of special significance to England men’s captain Eoin Morgan (London) and England Women’s captain Heather Knight (Plymstock, Devon).
The plaque’s inscription celebrates England Cricket’s historic position as joint holder of both ICC Cricket World Cup titles and the decoration will last for three months.
