Teenager in serious condition after being hit by motorbike while crossing the road in Saxlingham Thorpe

A teenage boy has been left in a serious condition after being hit by a motorbike in Saxlingham Thorpe. The collision occurred on Tuesday, June 13 involving a teenage boy and motorcyclist.

The teenager was crossing the A140 Ipswich Road at 3.25pm when a red and black Lexmoto motorcycle collided with him A boy in his late teens was riding the motorcycle and was arrested and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre, on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and careless driving.

The motorcyclist has been released under investigation and the teenage boy remains in hospital in a serious but stable position. Norfolk Police is now investigating and asking anyone with information to come forward.
