Teens found with stolen car and burglary tools in Rockford | News

ROCKFORD, Ill (WREX) – Rockford Police responded to a call about car burglaries early Saturday morning on Laramie Drive. 

When officers arrived, they found a running car that had been reported stolen earlier. Two teenagers were found nearby with burglary tools. 

A 17-year-old teenage boy is facing charges including Burglary to a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. He was released to his parents. 

A 16-year-old teenage boy is facing a charge of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and was lodged into Juvenile Detention.
