I AGREE the postal workers should receive a fair increase and not against a load of stipulations which equate to a pay cut.
I will say one thing – no-one was complaining about the Tory government when many people around the UK were paid to stay at home costing the country billions in furlough payments; then, they where the best thing since sliced bread.
At some point, the books have to be balanced, which means looking at everything across the board and redirecting the relevant funds to those who have been left behind.
You will see businesses start to close because huge annual wage increases aren’t sustainable, on top of rising costs to run a business.
