The Holbeach and District Darts League stages its final night

The league runners-up got the better of the title winners in the cup clashes at the Holbeach and District Darts League finals night.

Title-winning Tigers D were taking on Anchor B in the Division One showdown while champions Anchor A faced Royal British Legion in the Division Two final.

But their double hopes were dashed as the Anchor B defeated Tigers D 16-11 while Royal British Legion were 15-12 victors over the Anchor A.

The Sutton Bridge side did gain some revenge for their team defeat as Steve Urch and Olivia Goddard won the Division Two pairs by beating Gavin Slater and Jacob Slater of the Royal British Legion.

Adam Bland and Tyger Atkin of the Rose & Crown A won the Division One pairs final after victory over Dave Clarey and Dave Piccaver of Tigers B.

Kirby McCracken of Tigers K won the Ladies Cup final after a 3-2 victory over Kirstie Piccaver of Tigers B.

The Division One singles final was won by Duncan Hunt of Tigers D after a 3-2 triumph over James Brownlow of Tigers B while Monty Bunn of the Greyhound won the Division Two competition by beating team-mate Luke Emmins by the same margin.

The preliminary rounds of both cup competitions were played this week in the Crowson Volkswagen Pinchbeck and District Winter Darts League.

In the Knockout Cup, the Royal Mail Cart advanced with a 5-1 win over the Drayman’s Arms, despite a 180 from Scott O’Connell.

Consti Club D defeated Consti Club A 6-3 with Riley and Nick Collins sealing the victory.

Chris Mumby stood out for the A side, hitting a 116 checkout in his singles win over Dean Drage.

Lincoln Arms C eased through with an 8-1 home win against Green Dragon C.

Adam Rear had the lone success for the visitors.

Consti Club C also recorded an 8-1 victory, beating Pinchbeck FC C.

Josh Faulkner’s 2-0 defeat to Jay Vernalls left the Football Club with just one success on the night.

There were 180’s for Harry Faulkner, Jimmy Robinson and Jordan Philpott all of the Consti.

In the H&H Cup for Division B sides, league leaders Kirton Leisure won 6-3 away to Services Club A, Mark Ledger hitting a 180.

The standout performance of the week came from Consti Club Z, who produced a 9-0 whitewash against the Pied Calf. Mick Atkin starred with a 16-dart leg.
