The Royal Oak in Ramsden has been praised for offering “the best food” and being a “magical place” by some of its visitors on TikTok.
The video these visitors have commented on was posted by TikTok user @pollydunseath in which she showed the interior of the pub at night with several fairy lights and lamps creating a cosy atmosphere.

On its website, the pub, which is a Grade II listed building, says: “The Royal Oak sits proudly at the heart of the small, picturesque village of Ramsden in West Oxfordshire where it has served as a coaching inn and public house for almost 250 years.
“Since the late 1980s the previous owners were renowned for excellent food, wine and a heart filled welcome.
“Now in 2023, the Royal Oak continues to build on its reputation of providing travellers and locals with a warm welcome, great food and a wonderful pint or fine wine.”
