POLITICIANS have welcomed a Government decision to cancel a tender to run the Post Office Card Account. The contract for the card account, which was launched in 2003, ends in March 2010, at which point bids from Royal Mail’s rivals, which include WGC-based company Paypoint, were set to be invited.
