Time is running out to take advanatage of a free Royal Mail service for special Christmas deliveries. Bosses want to make sure that children manage to get their letters sent to Santa on time.
Youngsters can write a letter to the big man himself and have it specially delivered just in time for Christmas. But there are only days left to get involved.
A spokesman said: “It’s nearly Christmas, and we know you want to make sure that your letter to Santa Claus gets to him. Santa is as excited about Christmas as we are — read on to find out how to write to Santa.”

Santa’s letter
Dear Children
Are you looking forward to Christmas this year? I certainly am! Christmas is a very exciting but busy time for me.
The elves are busy making toys. The reindeer are practising their sleigh runs. And I’m busy preparing my list of who’s been good.
I will be getting my sleigh ready for the long journey on Christmas Eve. In between I will try and reply to as many of you as possible.
Please send your letters to:
Santa/Father Christmas
Santa’s Grotto
XM4 5HQ
Please make sure you
- Write Santa’s address carefully on the envelope
- Put a stamp on the envelope so it gets to Santa
- Include your full name and address on the back of the envelope
- I’ll be replying to as many of your letters as I am able to from Monday 18 November; but there are a lot of you, so your letter needs to reach the North Pole by Monday 9 December.
I’m looking forward to delivering your presents on Christmas Eve. Make sure you remember my mince pie and Rudolph’s carrot!
Merry Christmas to you all!
from Santa
