POWERSITE, Mo — Small towns across the Ozarks are putting up a fight to save their post offices. In Taney County, scores of people in Powersite have signed a petition to keep their mail service. Citizens of Powersite say they were sent a letter in the mail from the US Postal Service warning them about the potential closure and telling them to use the post office at a nearby town.
