The top 10 strongest brands in Britain have been revealed – and the winner may surprise you.
There are thousands of companies on the UK high street these days, and as business booms, knowing which ones are striding out in front can be helpful for numerous reasons.
YouGov BrandIndex has summarised the top brands by taking into account impression, quality, value, satisfaction, recommendation and reputation over the last 12 months.
The winner, as by the experts’ analysis, came out as Marks & Spencer, the high end grocery, homeware and fashion store which many of us enjoy in our towns and cities.

Following M&S is IKEA, Samsung, John Lewis and Netflix, while when you peer at the most improved brands, the Post Office takes the crown.
The postal service’ rating has been driven by hiking satisfaction and improved public perception, after the Horizon IT scandal, the Mirror reported.
Royal Mail and Fujitsu fall in second and third place in this regard. WhatsApp was at the top of the global best rankings, backed by strong performance in India and Indonesia.
After WhatsApp was Samsung, YouTube and Google.

“Based on over six million interviews conducted across 28 markets, this report looks at overall brand health as measured by YouGov BrandIndex’s daily tracking. Congratulations to all recognised brands.”

M&S CEO Stuart Machin said “We deeply appreciate being named the UK’s Best Brand by YouGov for the fourth year in a row. This one means a lot, because it’s based on what our customers say about us. Your trust is at the heart of everything we do.”
He added: “Thank you to our colleagues also for their hard work to make the magic happen. It’s a real team effort. This motivates us to be even better.
“We’re staying positively dissatisfied as we look forward, because we know there is still so much to do, and so much opportunity ahead of us.”
