Everton forward Kevin Mirallas joins Royal Antwerp after being frozen out by Toffees boss Marco Silva

Everton forward Kevin Mirallas has joined Royal Antwerp, bringing to an end his seven-year stay at Goodison Park

Mirallas was spotted watching on from the stands during Royal Antwerp’s Europa League defeat to AZ Alkmaar on Thursday night. 

The 31-year-old spent all of last season on loan at Fiorentina, having also had a six month loan spell at Olympiakos in the second half of the 2017/2018 season.

Mirallas joined Everton in a £6 million move from Olympiakos back in 2012 and became a key player for the Toffees under former boss David Moyes.

The forward made 151 Premier League appearances, scoring 29 goals and making 24 assists before falling out of favour under Sam Allardyce and current Everton boss Marco Silva.

His last appearance for Everton came in a 3-0 Europa League victory over Cypriot outfit Apollon Limassol in December 2017.
