A Cardiff construction company has been appointed to redevelop Newport’s Royal Mail building.
Troika Construct will help transform the building on Mill Street. It follows the firm’s work on Chartist Tower in the city.
Internal demolition has taken place at Mill Street and Troika will start on site shortly. Completion is expected to take 35 weeks.
Mark Cotter, chief executive of Troika Construct Limited, said: “We are extremely proud to play a role within the mass redevelopment of Newport. This project, coupled with Chartist Tower, are huge projects that will make a real difference to the city when completed.”
Once complete, the former Royal Mail building will comprise office space.
