These overprinted stamps were issued Aug. 6, 1913. Shown is the overprinted 2-stotinki Czar Ferdinand (Scott 105). Attacking its erstwhile allies in the Second Balkan War (1913) proved disastrous, and Bulgaria lost much of the territory it had gained.
