Two more arrested in connection with Southampton murder investigation

Two further arrests have been made in connection with the death of a man in Southampton. Mark Noke was killed in his home on Warburton Road on February 25.

He suffered a single stab wound to the chest. Two men, aged 21 and 28, have now been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

The arrests come after two warrants were conducted by officers at addresses in Bentley Green and Ekless Court at 6am on Wednesday morning (April 19). Both have been released on a conditional police bail until July 19.

Multiple people have already been arrested in connection with the murder. Previously, a 23-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of murder whilst a woman, 27, from Gosport and two men, 49 and 33, from Southampton were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender – the woman was re-arrested for this offence after new information came to light.

Officers also arrested a 47-year-old on suspicion of assisting an offender on Thursday (March 23) but she has since been bailed. By this stage, seven others had already been arrested for various offences.

Six other men – aged 21, 23, 28, 31, and two aged 20 – had been arrested on suspicion of murder as part of the investigation. A 39-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender – they have all been released on bail.

Hampshire Constabulary continues to appeal for information related to the murder. Anyone with relevant information or footage is urged to contact them immediately.
