The event sees the ‘internationally renowned’ UVHS wind band take to the stage alongside their world-famous counterparts, culminating in a massed band finale.
The now 20-year partnership between the two organisations includes annual joint concert weekends in Ulverston and trips down to Portsmouth for the UVHS students.
The UVHS band is also preparing for its first international tour to Germany and Belgium in July, with this weekend’s concert getting them ready for the experience.
