A long-standing Rochdale engineering business has been bought by United Infrastructure in a move set to expand both firms’ reach in the energy and utilities sectors.
Simkiss Group, known for designing and building control systems, panels and switchgear, has been acquired after more than 25 years of independent operation. The company provides engineering solutions to clients across energy, utilities and infrastructure, and is especially active in the utilities sector, offering installation, testing and maintenance services.
