Lidl has issued an urgent product recall on an item that was found to be contaminated with milk. The supermarket is one of many shops to have recalled food items this week, including Co-op, Iceland and Holland & Barrett.
The chains have warned shoppers not to consume any of the items on the recall list, which has been shared by the Food Standards Agency. The products include Hotel Chocolat chocolate batons and packets of pre-cooked chicken breast.
Any customers who have bought the items are urged to return them to their respective stores. You do not need a receipt to return the items and will be offered a full refund.

Hotel Chocolat Caramel Milk Batons
Pack size: 120g
Best before: July 2023
Hotel Chocolat is recalling packets of Caramel Milk Batons purchased between 21 October and 9 November. The product is being recalled because it contains peanuts which may be a possible health risk to anyone with a peanut allergy.
If the product has the lot number 22286 or 22287 then customers are being urged to return the item to their nearest Hotel Chocolat store, where they will be given a full refund or offered an exchange. Any purchases made online will not be impacted.

Holland & Barrett is recalling soya lecithin soft gel capsules because they contain peanuts which are not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts.
The company said: “If you have a peanut allergy, please do not eat this product, throw it awayand please return to your nearest Holland & Barrett store for a full refund.

Iceland Ready Cooked Diced Chicken Breast

Iceland is recalling Iceland Ready Cooked Diced Chicken Breast because some packs may contain uncooked chicken, which makes the product unsafe to eat.
Customers are being warned not to eat the item, instead, they will be offered a full refund at the Iceland store.
Lidl GB Birchwood 2 Breaded Katsu Kiev

Lidl GB is recalling Birchwood 2 Breaded Katsu Kiev because it may contain milk which is not mentioned on the label. This is because the product has been mispacked with Garlic and Herb Chicken Kiev which contains milk. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
