Vivid Laminating Technologies has unveiled details of its latest product, the Matrix ‘FoilLabel’ and Veloton, which will have its UK debut at this year’s Print Show at the NEC in Birmingham from September 23rd to 25th.
The new solution will make its first appearance on September 16th at Label Expo in Barcelona, where Vivid will be exhibiting on Stand 3E15. Alongside the launch will also be the Veloblade Volta with the Veloton and Velotaper, along with the ZipCore Packaging Suite, and the Matrix Metallic and Omniflow Feeder.
The manufacturer of cutting and finishing, systems says the new Matrix reel-to-reel digital foiling system makes premium label embellishment more accessible for all label printers.
The Veloton solution dramatically increases cutting speeds on positioned multiple cuts, which according to Vivid, makes production up to ten times faster.
Made for digital printers to add premium metallic finishes and special effects to label substrates without the costs of foiling, the new solution is presented as another way for companies to increase profitability and help customers standout in the market.
The new Matrix ‘FoilLabel’ solution has been made to build on the success of the Matrix range and introduces the ability to foil and laminate reel-to-reel with less waste from label stock. The system includes Matrix Metallic technology to ensure the majority of label stocks will be foilable, including textured materials.
Speaking of the solution, Gavin Ward, technical director at Vivid, says: “With the launch of Matrix ‘FoilLabel’, we’re opening the door for digital printers of all sizes to embrace label foiling.
“The system brings together the flexibility and the quality the Matrix is known for, with reel-to-reel finishing that streamlines workflows, making label enhancement more affordable and accessible than ever before.”
Visitors to both Label Expo, and The Print Show, where Vivid will exhibit on Stand P460, will be able to see the Matrix ‘FoilLabel’ in action, including its ability to work in conjunction with the VeloBlade Volta.
Vivid is one of the longest-serving supporters of the The Print Show, with its iconic orange branding becoming a familiar feature for regular visitors.
Visitors will also gain insight into three machines from the popular Easymount range. These include the Easymount Hybrid laminator and application table, as well as the Easymount Sign Air wide-format laminator solution.
Other highlights include a model from the VeloBlade Volta digital cutting table collection, which comprises options ranging from 2mm up to 10mm cut depth. In addition, visitors can speak with the Vivid team about machines in the VeloBlade Nexus range of wide-format digital die cutters, which can handle substrates up to 25mm thick including Dibond, MDF, fabrics and acrylic.
