Police have cracked down on a number of Lamborghini drivers who drove the supercars “antisocially” around Bolton at the weekend.

Officers received “multiple reports” of the luxury Italian cars being driven antisocially and said that they have all been “identified”.

In one incident, police said an orange Lamborghini was driven to a “police scene” in the centre of Bolton at 4am and revved the engine loudly.

In a post on social media this morning, Monday, which included a picture of the sports car, a police spokesperson said: “Multiple reports of different coloured Lambos being driven antisocially this weekend at Bolton, all now identified.

“Orange felt it was a great idea to race up to a police scene revving engine loudly at 4am.

“Driver reported due care offence and given S59 warning.”

A section 59 is a warning letter telling a driver that the manner in which they used their vehicle is likely to cause alarm or distress.
