Rigers Myqelefi, aged 27, was sentenced to 38 months in jail at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday.
On Thursday, July 3, officers from the Sentinel team saw Myqelefi leave an address on Harland Street on an electric bicycle.
The 27-year-old, who lives in Harland Street, evaded police by manoeuvring around the vehicle and riding off at speed.
Images from the police video shows Myqelefi swerving on his bike (Image: Suffolk police) Officers found the discarded bicycle on Portman Road shortly after, and a member of the public told police that they had seen a male run towards the Portman Road car park.
Officers found the man under a Royal Mail van, within the chassis.
He was arrested and searched, and an iPhone, 11 bags of cocaine hidden in a cigarette box, and a set of keys were seized.

He was then taken to custody for questioning.
Following this, a flat in Harland Street was searched and 45 bags of cocaine, 16 bags of cannabis, £2640 in cash, four mobile phones, a fraudulent driving licence and a yellow knuckle duster were seized.
