Watch: Thief steals parcels from Royal Mail van in Coventry

Shocking video footage has emerged of a thief stealing parcels from a Royal Mail van in Coventry.

The man grabs handfuls of parcels from the vehicle and throws them into the silver car he pulled up in through the passenger window.

The van was parked on Sewall Highway in Wyken when it was broken into on Saturday, November 7.

A shocked witness sent the video, filmed around 1.15pm, to CoventryLive.

They said they only captured one of the trips the thief had made to the van on camera.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We are investigating after a postman’s delivery van was broken into and parcels stolen in Sewall Highway, Coventry at about 1.15pm on Saturday (7 November).
