Christmas can be a busy time, and nothing is quite as frustrating as missing the deadline to post out your cards and gifts.

What dates should you remember if you’ve got items to post out? Read on and pop them in your calendar…

What is the last day to send out second class post for Christmas?

The last recommended date for posting via Royal Mail 2nd Class & 2nd Class ‘Signed For’ is Wednesday 18 December.

The Royal Mail will keep delivering post up until 23 December, but after18 December there’s no guarantee that something you post will arrive before Christmas Day.

If you miss out on this date and want to make sure something gets delivered, you have a few extra days until the last posting date for 1st class.

You can send items via Royal Mail 1st Class and 1st Class Signed For, Parcelforce Worldwide express48 and express48large until Friday 20 December.
