January is a time when many people like to make plans for the year to come and look ahead to the future.
With New Year’s Day falling on a weekend this year, Monday 3rd has become a ‘substitute’ bank holiday.
This may have left people wondering when the next bank holiday will be and how they will fall in 2022.
An extra bank holiday will take place in 2022 to mark Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The May bank holiday weekend will be moved to Thursday, June 2 and an additional bank holiday on Friday, June 3 will see a four-day weekend to celebrate the jubilee.
Here are all the official dates for every public holiday over the next 12 months.
