Where to send a letter to Santa and how to get a free reply with Royal Mail

Children have until next Friday (December 6) to post their letters to Santa if they wish to receive a reply.

The Royal Mail is responsible for shipping thousands and thousands of letters to Father Christmas every year as well as delivering the replies he writes in return.

But families are being reminded that their youngsters’ wish lists must be sent by Friday, December 6 to stand a chance of hearing from the main man before things get too hectic at the North Pole.

Make sure your letter to Santa is sent by Friday, December 6. (23071598)

Excited boys and girls desperate to tell Father Christmas what they’ve been up to this year and what they would like for Christmas must send their letters to: Father Christmas, Santa’s Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ.

It’s important, say Santa’s team of postmen, that the address is written carefully and clearly on the front, and that a stamp on the envelope is also included.

Alongside telling Santa and the elves exactly what they wish for this Christmas the letter must also include each child’s full name and full address so that Santa can endeavour to reply.

Whilst Santa can receive letters right up until Christmas, anyone hoping for a reply through the post should post their note by Friday, December 6.
