It was another busy day at Wimbledon today, and the Royal Box was once again packed with an array of British sporting stars.
The likes of Gary Lineker rubbed shoulders with former broadcaster Sue Barker and Olympic champion Sir Steve Redgrave as the VIP guests took in the action on Centre Court.
But this is just a few of the many famous faces in the line-up of today’s Royal Box, with special guests including a number of global tennis champions, footballers and cricketers.
On Tuesday, the Princess of Wales was one of the exclusive attendees in the best seats in the house, alongside eight-time men’s Wimbledon champion Roger Federer and his wife Mirka, a former professional tennis player herself.
Today, the Royal Box has been graced by more famous sporting faces. Here, FEMAIL takes a look at another star-studded line-up watching the action on Centre Court.

1. Sue Barker
The veteran broadcaster, who retired to great fanfare at the end of last year’s Wimbledon, was back for another day in the Royal Box on Saturday.
Ms Barker was also spotted at Centre Court on Wednesday, after stepping down from presenting the main coverage of Wimbledon in 2022 because she didn’t want to be ‘phased out’.
She had been the voice of the BBC’s Wimbledon coverage for 30 years.
2. Gary Lineker
England’s second leading international goalscorer Mr Lineker was also sat in the Royal Box to watch the Centre Court this afternoon.
The sportsman-turned-broadcaster, 62, played for the likes of Leicester City, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur in England, and also made appearances on the pitch for Barcelona.
He won a total of 80 caps for England before retiring, and was awarded an OBE for services to football in 1992.
3. Sir Steve Redgrave
Sir Steve, 61, is a retired British rower who won gold medals at five consecutive Olympic Games from 1984 to 2000.
He has also won three Commonwealth Games gold medals and nine World Rowing Championships golds. He was awarded a KBE in 2001 for services to rowing.
4. Rosemary Casals and Connie Spooner
Ms Casals, 74, is an American former professional tennis player, who earned her reputation as a rebel in the tennis world when she began competing in the 1960s.
She is joined by her wife, former WTA Tour trainer Connie Spooner.
5. Sam Curran
Mr Curran was a member of England’s T20 World Cup winning team in 2022.
The cricketer was named Player of the Tournament, and was awarded an MBE in 2023 for services to cricket.
6. Judy Tegart-Dalton
Ms Tegart-Dalton is an Australian former professional tennis player, who won nine major doubles titles and was a finalist in the Ladies Singles at Wimbledon in 1968.

7. Stefan Edberg
The Swedish tennis player, 57, won six Grand Slam singles titles and three mens doubles titles before retiring from the sport in 1996.
He was the Wimbledon Gentlemen’s Singles Champion in 1988 and 1990.
8. Sir Gareth Edwards
Sir Gareth, 75, is a former Welsh rugby union player.
He was awarded a KBE in 2015 for services to sport and charitable services.
9. Tom Halliwell
Mr Halliwell is captain of the England Wheelchair Rugby League.
He led the team to victory at the World Cup in 2022, and was awarded an OBE in 2023 for services to Rugby League.
10. Rob Hawkins
Rob Hawkins was also a member of the World Cup winning Wheelchair Rugby League team in 2022.
11. Maddie Hinch
The retired hocker player was an Olympic gold winner in 2016, and a Commonwealth Games champion in 2022.
She won an MBE for services to hockey in 2017.
12. Sarah Hunter
Ms Hunter was the captain of the England Women’s Rugby Union team when they won the World Cup in 2017.
She was awarded an MBE for services to rugby in 2015.

13. Billie Jean King
The American former tennis player, 79, won 39 major titles throughout her career.
A total of 12 were in singles, 16 in women’s doubles and 11 in mixed doubles.
In fact, she was the Wimbledon Ladies’ Singles Champion in 1966, 1967, 1968, 1972, 1973 and 1975.
14. Fran Kirby
Lioness Ms Kirby was a member of the England Women’s Football Team when they became UEFA Women’s Champions in 2022.
15. Jan Kodes
Another former Wimbledon champion in the Royal Box, Mr Kodes won the Gentlemen’s Singles at the tournament in 1973.
16. Eilish McColgan
Ms McColgan is an award-winning middle and long-distance runner for the UK.
The Scot won the Commonwealth Games 10,000 metres in 2022, and was a European Championships gold medalist the previous year.
17. Beth Mead
Ms Mead was a member of the England Women’s Football Team in 2022.
She was also named BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year in 2022, and was awarded an MBE for services to football earlier this year.
18. Jill Scott
Another member of the England Lionesses who was in the Royal Box today.
19. James Simpson
A part of England’s champion Wheelchair Rugby League Team in 2022.
20. Laura Unsworth
Ms Unsworth was a member of the England Women’s Hockey Team when they won an Olympic gold medal in 2016.
21. Leah Williamson
The captain of the England Women’s Football Team when they won the UEFA Women’s Champions in 2022.
