Why Is One-Sixth of US on Food Stamps?
Wall Street Journal (blog) Food-stamp use grew 2.3% in June from a year earlier, with one-sixth of the U.S. population receiving benefits. Illinois showed the largest enrollment increase from last year with a 14.7% gain, according to Agriculture Department data released Friday. |
