Why Prince William and children didn’t face camera in Father’s Day photo

Why Prince William and children didn’t face camera in a sweet Kensington Palace and Royal Family Father’s Day photo has been revealed. The heartwarming snap of Wills embracing Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, was taken by Princess Kate.

Kate Middleton snapped the photo in Norfolk last month while she bravely fights cancer. Posted with an adorable caption by the three young Royals, it read today (Sunday) “We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day. G, C & L.”

It comes a few hours after Wills posted a touching Father’s Day tribute to his ‘Pa’ King Charles with a nostalgic photo taken 40 years ago. “Happy Father’s Day, Pa,” the post, personally signed by William, said.

A video montage taken over 70 years ago filled with memories was posted on the Royal Family’s official Twitter account. The heartwarming post was titled: “Wishing all Dads, and those who may be missing their parents today, a relaxing Father’s Day.”

Referencing the snap of Wills and his children, body language expert Judi James told the Mirror: “Photographed from the back view, they avoid actually communicating with the camera. It suggests this is an intimate and loving moment caught rather than a ‘show pony’ one posed to please the viewer.”

Princess Eugenie also posted on social media to mark Father’s Day. She shared a photo of husband, Jack Brooksbank, with their children August, three, and Ernest, one, on Instagram. The photos were captioned: “Happy Father’s Day.

“We love you.” The Duchess of York, who has 698,000 Instagram followers, posted two new photographs to mark Father’s Day. The first picture showed Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie as young children with their late maternal grandfather, Major Ronald Ferguson, who died in 2003.

Sarah’s second photograph was a solo shot of her late father when he was much younger.
