Wightlink Helps Deliver 13 Million Christmas Items To The Island

Wightlink has been getting into the festive spirit this Christmas, partnering with Royal Mail to deliver an incredible 13 million items of post to the Isle of Wight ahead of the big day.

To celebrate, Royal Mail’s Steve New and Garry Spanner visited the bridge of the Victoria of Wight, joined by a few festive elves, to see Christmas deliveries in action and meet Wightlink’s Captain Bills and Kirstie Higgins-Day.

Kirstie Higgins-Day, Head of Business Development at Wightlink, said:

“We’re proud to work with Royal Mail and play our part in ensuring millions of Christmas cards, parcels and surprises reach the Island safely.

“It’s been wonderful to welcome Garry and his festive helpers onboard.”

Wightlink would like to wish everyone on the Island a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
