Will Ospreay sends a heartwarming message amid prolonged AEW absence

Will Ospreay has been out of action for a while. Amid his absence, he has sent a heartwarming message.

Will Ospreay is one of the best high flyers in the world of professional wrestling. Given his high-risk style of wrestling, Ospreay often puts his body in a lot of dangerous situations. His style of wrestling has finally taken a toll on him as he has been dealing with serious neck issues involving two herniated discs. He was wrestling with the injury for months, but decided to take time off from the ring after Forbidden Door 2025 to get surgery. Therefore, Ospreay is expected to be out of action for a considerable amount of time.

Amid his absence, the AEW star took to Instagram Stories to post a picture of him interacting with a fan during one of his entrances. The Aerial Assassin captioned the post, indicating that he is missing the fans during his time on the sidelines.

“I miss this very much”

Will Ospreay’s post-retirement plans have been confirmed

Will Ospreay still has quite a few years left in his career. Despite this, it looks like he already knows what he wants to do when he retires from the industry.

During a recent interview with RJ City on Hey!(EW), Ospreay’s real-life partner, Alex Windsor, revealed that the Aerial Assassin dreams of becoming a postman when he hangs up his boots.

“Speaking of postman, that’s his dream. When he leaves wrestling, he wants to be a postman. No, but that’s his retirement plan. He wants to be a postman. But it’s one of them things where he could be like, oh, I used to be a wrestler. Now I’m just a postie. But not any postie, the Royal Mail.” [H/T – Fightful]
