Union leaders are planning to protest the use of tax subsidies by the Rensselaer County Industrial Development Agency for the FedEx Ground distribution center being built in East Greenbush. FedEx opened its first environmentally sustainable data center, located next to the FedEX Rocky Mountain Tech Center, at 350 Spectrum Loop in Colorado Springs. It is hoping to attain Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification for the building. FedEx says it can be considered “the most energy efficient data center in the United States.”…
