Officers from Essex Police are investigating a group of ‘suspicious’ boys after a woman was allegedly struck in the face by a BB gun pellet. The force received a report of a group of people acting suspiciously at the Four Wantz roundabout in Epping shortly after 5.30pm on Sunday (August 11).
The person reporting the incident had been struck on her face by what’s believed to be a pellet from a BB gun shot from the group. Officers remained in contact with the victim whose injury did not require hospital treatment.
At this stage, no arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing with officers still looking into the circumstances behind the incident.
