Woman to be sentenced for being in charge of out of control dog

A WOMAN is due to be sentenced after admitting being the owner of a dangerously out-of-control dog which injured a woman in Ulverston.

Nicole Kate Ashley, 44, pleaded guilty at a court hearing on November 28 to being the owner of a Saluki mix dog that injured a woman on Troughton Terrace on June 24 last year.

Ashley, of Upper Moorgreen Road, Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, will appear at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 17 for sentence.
