Hard working elves from Royal Mail have set up shop in the North Pole to help get the Christmas lists to Santa.
The big man in red will then reply for free to boys and girls across the country – so any Reading, Berkshire children worried about being on the naughty list had better start behaving!
While the kids get started on their lists, we’ve got all the important details for parents to make sure everything gets to the right place in time courtesy of Birmingham Live.
A message from Santa says: “Dear boys and girls, Christmas is a very exciting but busy time for me: the elves are making toys, the reindeer are practising their sleigh runs, and I’m busy preparing my list of who’s been good this year.
“I will be getting my sleigh ready for the long journey on Christmas Eve and in between I will try to reply to as many of you as possible.”
How to get a free letter from Santa
After the Christmas list is written, make sure your child’s full name and address is in the letter so that Santa knows where to send his reply to.
The address on the envelope needs to be nice nice and clear – Royal Mail has released Santa’s official address so that letters don’t get lost.

The deadline for letters
The deadline for letters to be sent is Friday December 6, 2019 – remember it’s getting into a very busy time for Santa and his elves by then so unfortunately he just won’t have time to reply.
