3-year-old adorably tries to get out of trouble after drawing all over his body with green marker

A little boy who drew all over himself with green marker knew exactly what he had to do when his mother caught him — he had to think about what he’d done.

LaTasha Dove from Fort Payne, Alabama filmed the moment that she found her three-and-a-half-year-old son Finn Dove half naked and covered in marker scribbles after playtime-gone-wrong with his two cousins.

As LaTasha stood above and spoke to him sternly about the mess, a tearful Finn knew he was in trouble — and helpfully suggested that he could ‘take a bath while we think about what we done’ to make it better.

The video, which Finn’s dad Chris has shared on YouTube, shows Finn staring up in his underwear with his chest, arms, face, and back covered in green marker.

The children seemed to have the idea of turning Finn into a ‘bad guy’ like the Incredible Hulk, and thought coloring him would do the trick.

‘So you went and got a marker,’ LaTasha can be heard telling him.

‘Yeah, we wanted to be bad guys. That’s why we did it,’ he answers, shame-faced.

‘And we’re sorry,’ he adds, pouting his lower lip. ‘Are you mad at us?’

‘I mean, I’m pretty upset,’ LaTasha tells him with incredible calm.

‘Is daddy gonna be mad too?’ Finn asks, his face heartbreaking even with the green mess.

‘Who knows,’ LaTasha answers.

‘Maybe we could take a bath while we think about what we done,’ Finn suggests and he starts to cry.

LaTasha asks him if he thinks that thinking about what he’s done will get rid of the marker all over his chest.

‘If we take a bath, it will,’ Finn answers truthfully.

The adorable video has quickly gone viral, earning thousands of views across Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

‘OH. MY. GOSH. YA’LL. No one warned me how mischievous toddlers are,’ LaTasha wrote.

‘Of course, if they get quiet you get concerned but I was certain from all the giggling they were doing that they were just happily playing with toys while I cleaned Finn’s room from the triple toddler tornado that had just came through.

‘I. WAS. WRONG,’ she added. ‘I sound like I was going to snap but I swear I was only stifling giggles. Never a dull moment with these babies and I love it!’

Commenters have gone wild for the funny clip, with one writing that she watched it ‘at least 20 times’ while praising Finn’s ‘super-cute’ voice and mannerisms as well as his great reasoning skills.

‘They are all so adorable. Especially the little guy doing all the talking. I couldn’t be mad at them, I want to hug them,’ wrote another.

‘CUTENESS OVERLOAD, you can’t be made at them. He’s going to be a very good lawyer one day,’ commented a third.
