Post Office in Downtown Pinehurst to Close Aug. 19

The downtown post office in Pinehurst will close Aug. 19, and its operations will be consolidated at the Blake Boulevard location. Calling the closing a necessary move to maintain its financial viability, a spokesperson for the U.S. Postal Service on Monday said that all employees at the downtown post office also will be relocated to the Blake Boulevard facility.
