‘Will we ever get mail again?’ Royal Mail predicts more delays, affecting 91 postcodes.

Although Royal Mail has done its best to deliver mail on time, there are delays in 91 areas across the UK.

Royal Mail has had delays in its postal service for the past few weeks.

While the company is working hard to clear the backlog, as of today, Monday 17 January, several postcodes across the UK are still experiencing delays in receiving their mail.

Here’s the most recent information.

Royal Mail transports mail via air, rail, and road.

The air and rail networks “operated on schedule” over the weekend, but there were delays on the road network.

“On Sunday, some mail scheduled to arrive at our National Distribution Centre from Belfast Mail Centre was delayed due to an issue with the trailer on the vehicle,” the official website explains.

“As a result, some mail sent on Saturday in the BT postcode area and due to arrive today in other parts of the UK could arrive later than expected.”

“In addition, mail scheduled to arrive at our National Distribution Centre from Chester, Preston, and Warrington Mail Centres was diverted and delivered to the North West Hub on Sunday.”

“As a result, not all mail could be processed on time.”

“As a result, some mail sent on Saturday in the CH, LL, SY, BB, FY, LA, PR, CW, L, WA, and WN postcode areas due to arrive today in other parts of the UK may arrive later than expected,” the statement read.

Over the last 24 hours, a couple of mail centers have not processed or dispatched all mail according to schedule.

The following locations are affected:

Some mail from the BH and DT postcode areas was delivered on Saturday to addresses across the UK.

On Friday, some mail was sent across the UK, with delivery expected on Saturday in the PL postcode area.

The majority of the UK’s deliveries are running normally today.

Several areas, however, are experiencing postal service delays.
