One in, one out at C.C. post office (Charles City Press)

With John Schlump’s retirement as Charles City’s Postmaster effective tomorrow, the post office has welcomed Brenda Kellogg as the officer in charge. Kellogg will serve as a temporary replacement for Schlump until a permanent Postmaster can be hired. Kellogg said that the hiring process could take one or two months to complete.
