Airport FedEx hub starts phase one operations (News 14 Carolina)

GREENSBORO – FedEx started operations at its new $300 million hub at the Piedmont Triad Airport on Monday. This first phase moves operations from a nearby cargo terminal to the hub, although a FedEx spokesperson said because of the struggling economy, it’s starting out on a much smaller scale.
