Train drivers who belong to the Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen (ASLEF) are walking out again.

This comes after the union rejected a new offer on pay and working conditions, including a 4% pay rise for two years in a row.

“The proposal – of just 4% – was clearly not designed to be accepted as inflation is still running north of 10% and our members at these companies have not had an increase for four years,” the union said.
