Boat master/skipper for Cardiff Cruises

Cardiff Cruises offers tours of Cardiff Bay and offers views of The Norwegian Church

While this job isn’t going to land you on a luxury cruise liner like some of the other jobs, this role is a little closer to home. Cardiff Cruises is looking for a seasonal skipper to join its team.

The company offers passengers 45-minute tours of Cardiff Bay, which offers sights of the Senedd and the Norwegian Church. The company also operates the Flatholm Island ferry.

The job will involve working 40 hours per week with some of the shifts being during the weekend and evenings. The company wishes applicants to have already carried out a basic ancillary course but will then teach them how to handle the boat and what to do in an emergency.

The boats dock at Penarth Marina (near the Cardiff Barrage) so those applying will need to be able to travel to the marina. It would also be preferred if those applying had first aid, basic fire and personal safety qualifications as well as a medical certificate.

Those wishing to apply need to send a CV and cover letter to jobs@cardiffcruises.com.
