eBay to Introduce Malware Scanning Service Called Garage (AuctionBytes)

eBay thinks it’s getting a handle on malware on the auction site, but wants users to clean up their own computers. The auction site told Silicon.com on Monday it would introduce a new service to users to help them fight malware. The site, eBay Garage, will run an embedded application to scan users’ computers for any viruses or spyware using up-to-date malware signatures.
