FedEx buys Dutch delivery company TNT for $4.8 billion

FedEx Corp. will buy Dutch package delivery firm TNT Express for $4.8 billion, aiming to expand its presence in Europe and around the world. FedEx will offer 8 euros in cash per TNT share to investors  in a deal that will give TNT customers access to FedEx's global distribution platform.
