Food bank joins forces with school on food stamps

More than 30 parents joined their children Wednesday on the playground at Laura G. Rodriguez Elementary School to apply for food stamps and take home free produce, the start of a program that aims to make sure people who are eligible for assistance aren’t overlooked.
